Action=Refusing to Deny Life

Refuse to deny another minute of your life!

While reading Don Miguel Ruiz’ The Four Agreements again, I was captivated by a particular line: “Action is about living fully. Inaction is the way that we deny life.”

So, what

can we gain from this? Well, it struck me today more than in times past how beautiful this life is. This life is the most awesome gift imaginable! We have opportunities to learn, grow, create, serve, teach, love, and inspire. Everything around us from our relationships to the budding flower in the fields represent the beauty of this gift. May we choose to not deny these things any more and be a man or woman of action–living life to the fullest–refusing to deny life.

“Nothing will work unless you do!”-Maya Angelou

So get to work! Begin today to take a step towards action–a step towards your individual dreams and in helping others realize their own specific dreams. Move. Be active. Be responsive. Live a life of action, free from stagnancy and idleness. There is so much to accomplish in this life, yet so little time. The mortal life does not present itself forever to us. Now is the time to get to work and put forth action!

Og Mandino so eloquently wrote:

“I will act now. My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust, my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless they are followed by action. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay she will become betrothed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the man. I will act now.”

Refuse to deny life.
