We like to say there’s no competition in development. But when you think about the millions wasted on handouts and overpriced humanitarian trips, maybe we should voice up…Say “no” to meaningless poverty tourism and hug-an-orphan trips that offer little lasting impact. Say “yes” to a push for self-reliance and sustainability, education and mentoring, micro-enterprise and micro-savings. Say yes” to GOA’s expeditions.
